Northern Divers (Eng) Ltd. was founded in 1963 to provide a range of underwater services to the civil engineering and marine industries, public utilities, and harbour authorities. This makes us the oldest established UK Diving Company. Our services include diving services, marine surveys, marine salvage, confined space works, riverbank & water course remediation works, scour control, renewables and more.
Northern Divers (Eng) Ltd moved to a new, purpose-built facility in February 2010. This move facilitates working with clients, including international contractors, overseas governments, local authorities, shipping, and insurance companies. With this new headquarters, Northern Divers is building its reputation as one of Europe's most well-known and respected underwater civil engineering and commercial diving companies.
At Northern Divers, we have maintained a lead in underwater technology. The company is equipped with the most up-to-date diving, inspection, maintenance and repair equipment, as well as state-of-the-art corrosion protection systems. Our equipment is fully mobile, allowing us to carry out salvage, inspection, maintenance and repair operations anywhere in the world.
In addition to providing inspection, repair and maintenance services to a range of clients, Northern Divers has been involved in many national and international projects. Since 1963, we have worked on major international projects, including dam and harbour works.
